Green Terminator respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Green Terminator mobile application and website at https://greenterminator.co.za.

When you register for or use the Green Terminator app, we may collect:

• Account information required to create and manage your profile.
• Swimming pool details that you provide.
• Swimming pool water-test readings entered into the app.
• Technical information necessary for the app to function, maintain security, and diagnose errors.

Green Terminator does not currently offer location-based pool service matching.

• Create and manage your Green Terminator account.
• Analyse swimming pool water-test readings.
• Provide pool-care recommendations and chemical treatment guidance.
• Save your pool information and reading history.
• Maintain and improve app functionality, reliability, and security.

Green Terminator uses third-party technology services, including Google Firebase, to support app functionality and data storage.

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the app, subject to their applicable privacy and security practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and swimming pool readings for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.

7. Account and Data Deletion

Green Terminator users can permanently delete their accounts and associated data.

Delete your account inside the app:

1. Open Green Terminator and sign in.
2. Go to Settings → Delete Account.
3. Enter your password and follow the confirmation steps.

Once confirmed, your account and associated data, including saved swimming pool details, water-test readings and treatment history, will be permanently deleted.

Alternatively, request deletion by email:

Send an email to info@greenterminator.co.za from your registered email address with the subject Delete My Green Terminator Account.

Pool Service Providers with billing or listing records must request deletion by email.

Certain information may be retained where required by applicable law, for the legally required retention period. An anonymous deletion record containing the date and record counts may be retained without your name, email address or user ID.

8. Children’s Privacy

Green Terminator is not specifically designed for children. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate action.
